INTEGRA INTEGRA, NOV. 2006 PROGRAM BASICS
Between 10 and November 13, 2006, young volunteers Duoc UC, Andrés Bello University and individuals were invited to participate in our first activity BIOTA INTEGRA Vilches Alto, to provide our guests an opportunity to enjoy and learn from nature. Six children Telethon Institute of Puerto Montt, seven children and youth of the Disabled Agruparaciónde San Clemente, terapaeuta seven mothers and were our guests on that occasion.
The images on this blog summary of the experience, which in the opinion of all participants was incredible and unexpectedly rewarding.

Disability is a problem that affects a significant proportion of people in our society. To the extent that progress medicine and technology begin to help people with restricted mobility to find a satisfactory solution to their limitation, becomes stronger the need to work their social integration. The lack of significant experiences in contact with nature and socialization in camps, limited the development of personal and social skills of a significant proportion of the population with disabilities in our country, so these instances activities that contribute strongly to the intellectual, social and spiritual people. Thus, Biota Integra is presented as an alternative that links the needs of physical, intellectual and psychological development of these people and their immediate families, with the aesthetic, recreational and biological native ecosystems.

FEAT OBJECTIVES OF BIOTA INTEGRA
1 .- Create an instance for development and recreation on equal opportunities for people with restricted mobility, giving access to the benefits of environmental education and stimulating their interest in study and contemplation nature in its pristine state.
2 .- Contribute to building self-esteem of people with restricted mobility from direct contact with pristine nature, increasing their expectations of development and thus improving their quality of life.
3 .- To help strengthen the therapeutic methods associated with native ecosystems as well as research Applied environmental education.
4 .- Provide access to disabled children in poverty, in a natural setting that has a high ecological and educational value.
